I am a Calvert County native, living with my husband and two children on property that has been in my family since the forties. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, visiting historical sites, and being outdoors (warm months only!!!). My personal fitness journey began as a child receiving dance lessons at local dance schools. However, my twenties were spent relatively inactive due to a desk job, commute, and overall lack of motivation. I am so grateful my journey led me to Poston’s Fitness; which proved a significant turning point in my commitment to fitness and a major stepping stone in my personal fitness journey. Currently, I am a certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor and hold a certificate in TRX Suspension Training with an upcoming TRX Group Training in December. In 2019 I plan to begin my RYT 200 hour Yoga Alliance training.
Exercise is a unique individual practice for each person. And, I look forward to practicing together. Whether you are new to exercise or experienced, I will provide classes with options so you can get what you want out of our time together. I will be here every step of the way encouraging you on your fitness journey. Appreciate your body for the life it allows you to live; and embrace the journey. Everyday that we choose to pursue our fitness journey we are choosing to become better versions of ourselves. I am glad that I have the opportunity to continue my journey with you!
