MORE ABOUT SCOTT

Scott runs the Athletic Performance Department at Poston’s Fitness for Life. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Speed & Agility Coach and has a Sports Conditioning Specialty Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  He has a BSBA in Sport Management from Western New England University and a MBA in Marketing from Wagner College.  As a graduate assistant in the athletic department at Wagner College, Scott gained valuable Division I coaching experience as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach and valuable playing experience on their tennis team.  After his first year as a graduate assistant, he was promoted to the Manager of the Spiro Sports Center where he managed the 93,000 square foot facility which included the basketball arena, swimming pool, Athletic Department offices, team strength and conditioning center, and campus fitness center.

In high school, Scott was a 3-sport captain (soccer, basketball, tennis) and First Team All-Naugatuck Valley League in soccer and tennis.  Since then, he has competed in multiple endurance events including the Baltimore Running Festival Marathon, the Marshman Triathlon presented by Piranha Sports, and the Belmar 5 Mile Run.

Whether it is your first 5K or your fourth marathon, Scott offers competition specific training programs and would love to help you prepare for your next race!  He also works closely with local teams and coaches to create sport-specific training programs that focus on speed & agility, power, endurance, and performance. Join our team as we prepare you for your next race, endurance event, or upcoming sport season.
