From mites ice hockey to co-starting goalie for the University of Maryland Men’s Ice Hockey Team, I have learned a few things about how important speed and agility training can be. Off the field, or ice, training can be just as important as what is done during regular practice. As a former college athlete, and a father of 4, I know how imperative it is to balance school life, personal life, and sports training to be successful in all aspects of life.
I started training at Poston’s Fitness in 2014 with coach Scott Chamberlin as a way to get back into shape for adult league hockey. From there it escalated to helping develop training programs for workouts, completing a speed and agility certification through NASM, and making coaching a part of my everyday life.
