Even though I was a really active kid, I had some weight issues. I became interested in cooking at a very early age and started learning about food as fuel. In high school, I was a Varsity swimmer and I also joined a local gym. There I was exposed to a variety of classes such as weight training, MMA, boxing, and bootcamp-style workouts and I was able to continue working out all through college. I am an outdoors person and I enjoy fishing, camping, swimming, and hiking.
I am a 2018 graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I am currently working toward my NASM certification. I am looking forward to helping others realize that choosing fitness as a lifestyle means much more than numbers on a scale or a tag inside your clothes.
